DanceXchange in partnership with Youth Dance England (YDE) are running FREE choreolab sessions for young dance artists aged 15– 19 (up to 24 years if disabled).
The sessions are ideal for young people looking to develop their choreography skills, especially those studying for GCSE, A Level or BTEC in Dance. The three sessions are being led by experienced choreographer and Contemporary Dance teacher Clare Palethorpe on 26 March 5pm – 9pm, 27 March 10am – 6pm, and 28 March 10am – 6pm at the DanceXchange studios in Birmingham.
All participants will also have an opportunity to apply for YDE Young Creatives 2011, a national initiative that focuses on developing the skills of young choreographers through mentoring, residential workshops and seminars and performance opportunities.
