The Nutcracker is running at Birmingham Hippodrome until Sunday 13 December and is the perfect way to kick-off the Christmas season.
Here’s a snap from the Chinese dance in the second half – those frog-leaps add cheeky charm to the enchanting production – read our review here.
The Nutcracker returns to its home theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome, for 22 performances only, from Friday 27 November to Sunday 13 December 2009. To book tickets or to find out more visit Birmingham Royal Ballet’s website or www.birminghamhippodrome.com.

A new interview with Carol-Anne went up on the Birmingham Royal Ballet website the very same day! In it she discusses the role of Clara in The Nutcracker, as well as touching upon recent performances of E=mc², her early dance training, her view of herself as a dancer, and the only ever time she got stage fright.
