Birmingham Hippodrome, in conjunction with Breakin’ Convention is offering a limited number of free workshops to schools in the Birmingham area. The workshops on offer cover the spectrum of Hip Hop and include Dance, Music and Art and are delivered by professional artists from the region.
Workshops on offer are:
• Beginners break dance (Suitable for 5-19yrs)
• Beginners Popping and Locking (Suitable for 5-19yrs)
• Graffiti illustration using markers and pens (Suitable for years 7 +)
• Rapping / Spoken Word (Suitable for years 7 +)
• Rappin’ the Times Table (suitable for years 4, 5 & 6)
• Creating a story through Graffiti and Rapp (words and pictures for 21st Century!) (suitable for year 7 +)
