On Friday 24 April, ACE Youth and the all-male Being Frank Physical Theatre will perform at Lordswood Boys’ School as part of a recent tour of Birmingham’s secondary schools.
It’s part of a project supported by Birmingham City Council’s Creative Futures to get more young people participating in dance, whether dancing themselves or as audience members, with the schools involved having had little or no experience of teaching dance before.
We’re told to expect “a good mix of contemporary dance, street-dance, acrobatics and afro-fusion”.
