Or, at least, they are for one of the West Midlands’ premier dance company’s Artistic Directors: Louise Richards and Kevin Finnan from Leamington Spa’s brilliant Motionhouse Dance Theatre
After celebrating 20 years of ground-breaking dance work in 2008, Kevin and Louise gave themselves a brief, and well-deserved, sabbatical; but are now back with their new show Scattered.
They’ve allowed everyone in to the creative process by publishing Kevin Finnan’s thoughts on the new work here; which is jolly nice of them. On the subject of dance photography they also have a lovely Flickr collection with plenty of stunning shots from the last 20 years by the awesome dance photographer Chris Nash (who I am determined to pin down to sending us some photos to feature on this site … )
Oh, and Motionhouse also have a Facebook group, a Twitter account and lots of lovely things on YouTube just to prove they really are back and at large.
