Place Space and Identity – Benches

by Chris Unitt on March 24, 2009

Benches is a cultural project conceived by Sarah Nadine and Clare Reynolds that aims to explore the contemporary identity of Stoke-on-Trent through a fusion of dance, digital media and sound.

It’s part of Place Space and Identity, a public arts programme, and it was launched this weekend with further performances planned for Saturday 28 March:

  • Longton – midday
  • Burslem – 2pm

A series of artworks will also be displayed on buses from 16 March for four weeks.

There’s more information at www.placespaceidentity.net.
